Salmat BusinessForce is the result of the merger between Salmat Limited's Business Process Outsourcing division and Hermes Precisa Pty Ltd (HPA) in November 2007.
Salmat Limited was established in 1979 by Philip Salter and Peter Mattick, commencing operations as a letterbox distribution network. From there, the company quickly expanded into a national operation and developed the laser printing and direct mailing business. Salmat was listed on the ASX (code: SLM) in December 2002.
HPA was originally established in 1989 through the merger of Endata, Datamail and Bell & Howell Australia. HPA was listed on the ASX in December 2000 and traded as a public company until 2007, when all shares were sold to Salmat through a scheme of arrangement.
Both Salmat and HPA's growth over the past decades has been supported by a focus on continued innovation and the development of superior relationships with clients, employees, shareholders and strategic partners.
Today, Salmat BusinessForce is the undisputed leader in its industry, serving blue chip clients across the Asia Pacific region.
